why is it that the xbox is having so many problems? My sons has been sent to microsoft two time because they still have not fixed the 3 ring virus are other people having this problem too?

Here in India the disks are expensive and Microsoft has a no replacement policy. The disk has been damaged by the xbox 360 itself and I am recommended to keep the xbox horizontal. Buffering is not possible so any home-made remedy?

I opened my xbox nat ports and I did xbox live test and it all worked fine, where as before I kept getting an exclamation mark.
But for some reason I still can’t connect to games, this has only started happening since I got my new router, which is a ZYXEL router.
I am very frustrated with this problem and need help.
I have also reset my router and it still didn’t work.
please help.
