   Yes, they do my xbox was 3 years old and out of warranty and they repaired it for free, as long as you dont tamper with it. they give you a shipping label

   If your 3 year warranty has expired, then no they will charge you. Yea and DIY just postpones the inevitable so good job skipping over it
