  1. Okay dude. Imma about to try this right now. Some alcohol and cotton swab. then check the motor. I’ve tried almost everything from tapping, to tape, to disconnect hard drive, to putting it on inside. Let’s hope this is the last one. I’ll be back to tell you how it went.

  10. What about compressed air?

  11. compressed air can only do so much m8 its not as good as getting stuck in but i wont lie compressed air will work sometimes but i think its better to get stuck in

  12. Difference in the elite is that the drive is made by Hitachi/LG…different than Arcade/Regular 360.

  18. hey, just a headsup, I have fixed three xbox 360′s myself and I run mine guts open, but you need to TIGHTEN that screw, not loosten in, so if any of you are trying to loosten it and it;s not working, try tightening it ;) good luck and happy fixing (even though its not happy usually, lol)

  19. @goldkiller88 umm, nevermind that, my computer lagged and that was meant for another xbox 360 repair vid, lol. SORRY

  20. 1 question, can petrolium jelly work instead of WD-40? i know it sounds retarded or whatnot but wondering if you could put a little bit instead of WD-40….

  21. Don’t even use WD-40, that breaks down metal, it is not a lubricant, even though very many people will suggest that it is. If you need to lubricate the components, I will tell you to go with what I think is called mineral oil, (it may be something different) I say this because mineral oil does not conduct electricity, and has the right viscosity (thickness) for the job.

  22. cheers for this upload dude! i did this and boom my xbox was working :D thanks once more…happy gaming :)

  23. You rock!! I just did it and my Xbox 360 Elite came back to life! Thanks a lot for your help!
