When I type in ipconfig, I don’t see any numbers for my default gateway. I have DSL modem and a Netgear Router. Any suggestions for that?

I have a question for you. Im not having trouble with my xbox. but for some reason my router wont send me wifi to my labtop all the time. do you know how to fix that. I just did everything u said and i instead went to wirless channel and ssid and just pressed save changes and now my wireless is working. do you know how to make it stay working?? please message me with help or for mor info
I’ve followed every step in your guide, four other guides, and I’ve even had a network professional come to fix my settings… NONE of which were successful. I currently have a strict nat, and I can occasionally get it to be open, but I still cannot connect to my friends even when its open. If you can help, I will praise you forever!

Hey, i rang belkin recently and one of their support tech guys walked me through all this for my router but he said that once it was finished on the router i had to go and change something on my actual xbox? i was wondering if anyone had heard of this and/or if anyone knows of some tutorial online somewhere? Even if anyone has had a similar experience any feedback would be sweet.

i tried opening the ports and so on with no success!!! i also tried the reset button on my router with no success!!!! i figured if i go into xbox network settings on my 360 and restore it to default settings and then re-enter the wifi password it changes back to OPEN..
thought you might try this if all else fails

OK so i did all u did and it went from strict to moderate but not open and its on manual for the router but should set my xbox ip settings to manual?
