I just got xbox 360 arcade console with a number of games and they all work fine, however I just purchased a pre-owned copy of GTA 4 and it would only get to the 4th loading screen. I them traded it back for a different copy and this game doesn’t get recognized ( it doesn’t even show up when you put it in.
I this just a coincidence of 2 faulty discs or am I doing something wrong???????

well since you have other games that work, it is probably the games, there are a few methods to disc fixing. First, you can buy a disc fixer like "Merlins disc fixer" or i have used toothpaste before and it worked fine (if you use toothpaste, don’t experiment, get exact and precise directions, not some homemade vid that may be faked, and watch the WHOLE video before beginning, a lot of pranks) but i’d stick with professional products or exchanging for a third disc.
