it only scratches a disc if you move it while the disc is spinning or there is a disc in it which isnt a good idea in the first place so I don’t know why people do it .
same, he xbox is extemely fragile while running, play it horizontally (vertically scratches the discs) and don’t move it in the slightest while it’s running
Well, another valid point why 360 sucks.I have an elite and the thing scratches my DVD’s badly when kept in an erect position.Though, in the horizontal position it tends to scratch less.It sucks.My PS3 never breaks down or scratches the disc.I have had so many problems of the RROD on the 360,now here is a new issue.Frankly it isn’t worth it.
Go get a PS3.
Happened to me. Twice. And they only replace certain games…which is crap. My console isn’t standing the wrong way, nor did I move the console while the game was in there. It just happened. Also know many people it’s happened to.

every xbox 360 scratches disc if they r moved, 2 days ago i got my gta4 disc scratched it sucks
Enough people have had it happen to them that there’s a class-action lawsuit against MS over it.
