I just bought a xbox 360 arcade and was wondering if they still have as many problems as the older models? how long does the microsoft warranty last for? can I do anything to avoid any of the common problems they do still have?

yes, since you have just bought one i assume you got a new model. the new models come with a jasper chip in them and have a next to no chance of getting the red ring. since the new jasper chip is in there it prompted them to make the warranty a 1 year warranty instead of 3. nor sure on the e74 error tho. i assume they fixed that too because of the warranty. dont know of any other problems…..any other questions feel free to email me
no xbox is free from any problems,iv had an elite whcih has a amazing chip so microsoft say and i have had an E74 error,micosoft are know making a there warranty better.
