First off,
Sucks man about the RROD. It happens to the best of us gamers out there.
Secondly, XBox Repair or Microsoft doesn’t actually repair your system. They send you a refurbished one after they recieve yours. Why they say its being repaired is beyond me. How long it usually takes? Well, I sent my 360 in the 2nd week of August and I got it back just before the first of September which was about 2 and a half weeks.
I have heard horror stories of them going longer, and I’ve heard stories of them being shorter. It depends, but you will not get your same xbox back. which is a shame if you have a skin or anything on it like I did on mine.
I got mine in about 2 1/2 weeks and besides they give you a free month of Xbox live too.
well it takes about 2 weeks in total. for them to ship u the box and for u to get ur box back if u sent the box back a day after u got it. mine took like 10 days though so i would say between 10 days to 2 and a half weeks, maybe
It also took two weeks for my "new" xbox to arrive.
