I live in texas and just sent out my xbox 360 in the mail a few days ago. It got the RRoD which made me sad. Anyways, today Xbox got it (yay, only a day’s wait for them!) and they’re ‘Repairing it’. About how long might it take before they decide to send it back to me? and Are they really repairing it or just sending me a new one?

  1. Ive had my xbox break down a couple times, and i too live in texas. The repair center is in Mesquite, Tx so if you live in the DFW are you are in good luck, the shipping time will only be a few buisness days (only 1 buisness day to get up and one to get back to my town for me). However Microsoft might tell you 2-3 weeks overall. They usually over estimate so the console will arrive early and not late. I have shipped my xbox in twice and it took about 6 buisness days (8 days)

  3. welp since they only put away a billion dollars towards xbox red ring repair wich was used up in the first year their actually fixing the things now cuz they cant afford to ship you a new one. and they never did what they did was "fix" an xbox and ship it to someone else. so their just passing the batton back to you waiting for your warrenty to expire so they can charge you an extra hundred bucks for another broken xbox.

  4. Oh Dude….wrong move. Well at least (in my opinion) my 360 decided to go crazy on me the other day and I just used this guide that showed me how to fix everything myself in like a couple hours. And lemme guess, you are probably paying through your nose for them to "repair" it too. Check this out,..I really think it will help alot.
