Aside from mistreat etc. I sent it in and I said to myself that if it breaks down again, I am selling the Xbox 360 and I will buy something more useful with the money (not a ps3). What do you guys think of that?
Well it is my first that my xbox broke. Its in repair rite now and waiting for it to get back. Sometimes they do give you a new console. But what I can tell you is they don’t just fix the problem on your xbox, they fix everything even tho its only one problem. Here’s an example. Say you have the 3 rrod. They dont only fix the 3 rrod but they decide to fix everything even tho the 3 rrod is the only problem. The reason why they fix everything is that so your xbox won’t break again.
It all depends. Microsoft usually gives you back a refurbished Xbox 360, and you can never tell if it breaks or will be fine. Sometimes you get lucky and they send you a new console…..SOMETIMES……just stick with it, I mean, you still have that 3 yera warranty to stick to right?
3 years ago, I got my first 360. Today, my 3rd died. It was actually my 2nd new one, since I let my original warranty expire. There are so many things that can, and do, go wrong that I would assume that if you have it long enough and use it regularly, it’ll eventually fail.
That being said, the "real" questionn is: do you enjoy it when it works? I do, and that’s why my 4th will arrive in a few weeks. If not, get what you can out of it while it is working.

It might, but it’s not as likely. It’s just completely random.
