it only cost 150 dollars and its guaranteed to work. i read about a lot of problems like the red ring of death but is it worth it anyway, how likely is mine to break?

  1. yes its worth it but if you feel you might play your xbox for more then like 6 hours straight then get the pro since it has a 3 year warranty but if you dont do more then 6 at once then the slim since it will not break as easy

  2. Yes, RRoD will probably happen for you eventually. That’s why it would be more advisable to continue to save your money and buy one of the newer (slim) models.

Supposedly they have less of a chance of breaking.

I think you would be more satisfied if you did this.

  3. Xbox is a average system the PS3 is the more superior one with more bang for your buck. 1. Its more reliable than the xbox my friend had a xbox for two months and got the RROD had my Ps39 months and it hasnt malfunctioned not once. 2. Online Multiplayer Ps3 online MP is "FREE" xbox $20 a month and $50 for a year, the PSN doesnt lag like the xbox. when i played on xbox live on my friends 360 it took me 3 mins just to get across a room in halo 3 online smh. 3. The exclusives on the PS3 are just that good MLB 210 the show , Killzone 2 , Jak , Daxter Ratchet and Clank and Sly cooper 4 is in the works exclusives for the 360 Forza Fable and Halo smh. My 4th point which is kinda underated in this devate Ps3"Blu Ray"a blu ray cost $120. Ps3 may cost $300(for a complete system) but buying a xbox for $150 and then cost for online and other stuff which ultimately go over $300

  4. yes it is worth buying a 360 because it can play most xbox1 games and has most of the games on ps3 with better controls. make sure you buy a jasper elite because it has a .09 chance of breaking when a ps3 has a .16 chance.

  5. You are better off saving for the new slim model which is very reliable.

As for what PS3 people have said…Xbox live does cost per year. But if you shop around online you can get it way cheaper. I am currently paying $2.33 a month for it. It is worth it. There is no gaming lag. There is voice chat in and out of game, not just in a few games like ps3. I would rather pay for it, then have to suffer through the ps3 PSN (from experience).

There are also tons of freebies and contests, plus a seasonal gameshow. There are a lot more games, and several upcoming cross platform games will have xbox only exclusives. If you like playing online, there are also a lot more people on live.

The controller is modern and reliable, not like the ps3 one that was originally designed for the ps1, 13 years ago.
As for blue ray…if you want the huge expense of buying blue ray movies, you can get a player for less than $100 and not have to wear and tear an expensive console.

The ps3 has a few mostly mediocre exclusives. But with Xbox 360 you can play many of the older xbox games too. A brand new ps3 will not play ps2 games.

  6. The Red ring of death happens often, but microsoft gives a free new x-box if it does happen. To prevent the red ring of death just turn of the x-box if it starts to get too hot, and don’t play it for the next 2 hours.

  7. 2008 and after model are way less likely to get RRoD due to a better heat sink,

  8. number one: it is impossible to get red rings now, microsoft took the red lights out of the console
number two: yes i would get it because they fixed the glue that caused the red rings in the first place, also i bought a new one last year i have no problem at all
