Its a well known fact that for the first few years of the Xbox 360, the platform was marked by constant hardware failure when the infamous ‘Red Rind of Death’ used to start flashing on the console. Now it seems that the 360 slim will actually be having the same issue. The whole point with the New Xbox 360, as Alex explains, is the preventative ‘fail-safe’ to guard from the RRoD. When if it thinks it will start to overheat, it will stop itself before all hell breaks lose. The guys then go on to talk about the new Zelda for Wii and more upcoming favorites.

microsoft made the whole original xbox 360 and then they forgot o shit we need a dvd drive and then they needed to redesign either the cpu or gpu heatsink making it lighter and smaller
so when it was used for ages like mmm someone playing halo on it for ages would make the connection between the thermal compound and the heatsink fail
was either on the gpu or cpu dont know if it ever happened on both but yea

@Gogoalplex A remote or a PS3 controller? There is a difference. Nobody needs a remote, that’s just being a fool who feels the need to get eveyrthing. Controller will suffice. Lol if the person on the other hand, didn’t have a PS3 controller… well, that’s just a different story.
@UKFX They said in the video that they use the PS3 a lot for Blu Ray and the controller is awkward to use. As I said…if you have a PS3 and regularily use it for watching video (of any type) and you haven’t bothered to spend a measly £15 to buy a remote control then that’s embarassing.
1. i never had the rrod. 2. i use my xbox to play dvd’s becuase i can’t afford the cost of a blue ray player. plus i am a gamer. who loves the games on the xbox. and 3. ps3 aint got nothin on halo
oh and i am not a fanboy/ hatter. i do love the ps3. and it’s games. but the xbox is more of my style. just like theres no problem with macs. but i use pc’s.
