It makes me kind of happy that Katakana(I think that is the one) is similar to Mandarin writing. I was able to read the text on the coins. Yay.

No, I mean the type of writing. Isn’t there two different kinds of writing in Japanese?(Maybe there is three?) Like Hiragana and Katakana or something. One of those is really similar to Mandarin when it comes to writing.

yeah kanji is basically chinese writing, they have the same meaning and stuff, but they speak it differently. Katakana is used to pronouce foreign words for japanese ppl

I guess I am lucky with my launch 360, though the thought of RROD is always in the back of my mind. My brother and 2 friends have fallen victim to it..all out of warranty. Maybe I`ll give this a try. Thanks
i dvd drive broke so i got a new dvd drive and in order for it to work i have to flash it, i scared about doing it for 2 reasons,
1) im afraid of being banned
2) i might be tempted to pirate or buy some pirated 360 games
Mine just ran out of warranty, I opened it so I could clean it. Went from being loud as fuck, to sounding like an electric car. that is to say, very quiet
@xmastermoe360x dude u dont need to flash all u need is the chip from you broken dvd drive and put it in the new one but ur new one has to be the same as the first one
@hayward14510 when you mean the same do you mean they both have to be benq drives because i know that already i just didn’t know you could just switch the chips

woah, question! Near the end, 10:32, you said that you need to put some thermal compound on the processors once they are cleaned are you will b in trouble?Do you NEED it or will it work fine without it? I really need to know cause I’m doing this process as we speak…
