PLEASE HELP! I have tried contacting xbox customer service and no luck….. if you know how to fix this please help

Does fans work with a red ring Xbox 360? My friends xbox 360 got 3 red ringed and he tried to fix it but he couldn’t, so i bought it and i took it apart i took everything apart a plugged it in and turned it on and only 1 fan turned on then the fan stopped, i was wondering if this was normal with red ring, or if its a different problem, also does the disk drive work with red ring? i would greatly appreciate it if someone can help me.

My Xbox keeps pretty weird noise, or what do you think? I noticed no scratches on the disc, though. Please don’t send me those repair suggestions anymore, cause my xbox has been fixed by MS and is working just fine, touch wood I also have no idea how to fix this problem without sending the console to microsoft, so please don’t ask me what caused the problem.
