hi i just got my xbox 360 from america and a copy of tales of vesperia.Im using the correct stepdown transformer and had the game running fine for about three hours. The next day after playing for about twenty minutes the game stopped and i was returned to the xbox screen.I HAD NO RED LIGHTS. but my disc tray wouldnt open so i turned it of waited a few hours and then it let me eject the tray.I have tried numerous times to play my 360 but i just keep getting the same thing(20 minutes play stoping game getting stuck) ive tried a few diffrent stepdowns all the right voltage still the same thing i tried a diffrent game (gears of war) still getting the same thing i even tried using an english power supply still only twenty minutes of game play then the same thing id appreciate any input into helping me solve this problem its just weird that theres no red lights or anything and the disc tray keeps getting stuck. star ocean 4 is only a week or so away and im guessing it wont be region free
Okay. So I own Gears of War 2 for my Microsoft XBox 360. It’s one of many games I play on XBox Live which in case you don’t know is an online gaming service that connects you with players all around the world straight from your console. My problem is, when I try to play Gears of War 2 on XBox Live a message pops up before I begin telling my my computer has a strict firewall and that it may interfere with playing the game online. My computer and my wireless router interact with my 360 to provide a fully working XBL but with this new firewall issue the process is slowed down dramatically and I am unable to connect with other players. Is there any way to change my firewall settings to keep it from interfering with my XBox Live gaming?
We have a brand new xbox 360 hooked to a sanyo hd flat screen TV that is 1 year old. We dont have an xbox HDMI cable. We have the cable that it came with hooked up to the tv. We are using a DLink WBR 2310 router.
We have 2 problems:
1. Gears of War is lagging bad.
2. Unable to connect to certain friends via xbox live. Can always connect to others. This has been going on for awhile, thats why we bought the new xbox but it hasnt helped. no firewalls on
Marines destroying the shitty xbox 360 console. HAHAHA!!! The Xbox 360 video game console is subject to a number of technical problems that can render it unusable. Many of the issues can be identified by a series of red lights flashing on the face of the console; the three flashing red lights (nicknamed the “Red Ring of Death”) being the most infamous. There are other issues that arise with the console, such as discs becoming scratched in the drive and “bricking” of consoles due to dashboard updates. Since its release on November 22, 2005, many articles have appeared in the media portraying the Xbox 360′s high failure rates, with the latest estimate by warranty provider SquareTrade to be 23.7%, and the highest estimate being 68% and 54.2% by a Game Informer survey. There has been legal action taken attempting to hold Microsoft responsible for the Xbox 360′s failure rate and provide compensation for those affected.
