The three rings of death have introduced themselves to my XBOX 360. Now if I send it in for repair, what will happen to my game data that was saved on the hard-drive?
Specifically my near completion of Dead Rising!
So the three red rings of death never have anything to do with a problem on the hard-drive?

I am trying to transfer my gamertag from my hard drive to a memory card but an error pops up saying, "There was a problem performing that action." Can anyone help me?

One of my xbox 360′s has the ring of death. I took off the hard-drive and put it on my other xbox. Do I need to include the hard-drive when sending it to Microsoft for repair?

I have had my Xbox 360 for about 3 years now and i just recently started seeing problems. I only just got Mass Effect I have have been playing for a bit. My Xbox will now start freezing while I’m playing. The screen will freeze, an annoying noise will sound for a few secs, then the screen will get lines going through it like static. I emailed Microsoft and they sent me some stupid automated message that didn’t work. I found out that if I unplug the Hard Drive for about an hour I can play for a couple hours before it does it again. So then I called them and they made it sound like nothing was wrong and that I should try a new A/V cable and what not.
About an hour after I called, it did it again and then I got the Red Right of Death (the three fatal error lights). My warranty is up and I cant get it fixed for free. I don’t want to spend the money to get it fixed and I don’t have enough to get a new Xbox. Has anyone else had this problem? And is it possible to fix it myself?

Have they fixed the problem with the Xbox 360 problem, with the hard drive crashing? Or overheating, and where can you get a cooling pad?

I got the most hated red ring of death on my 360. I don’t know if there’s a microsoft store that can repair it. I don’t really trust online mailing. And if I send it in, do I need to send it in with my data hard drive or not. I don’t want to lose my gamertag score and stuff.
