Most, if not all of the technical supplies, can be found at RadioShack: – 80mm Computer Fan (RadioShack Model: A1910 | Catalog #: 28-1101) – Rocker Switch (RadioShack Model: 275-691 | Catalog #: 275-691) – 12V 100mA – 1 A Output Power Supply – Soldering Iron – Solder – Extra Wires – Wire Stripper/Cutter – Electrical Tape – Something to cut the plastic case of an Xbox 360

*update* my xbox broke ok a week later in got the red rings(3) so i called up microsoft and they fixed it took 1 week and a half but thanks for helping and it back already it works found out the the video card was messed up thanks but keep commenting!!!
Yeah My xbox 360 got the red rings and i dont feel like paying micorsoft to get it fix. this is a very old xbox so i can care less. the xbox was made in 2006 so i wasnt surprise when it got the red rings. Hope this trick works for you people that had the red rings of death.. Enjoy. 
Update as of 2-10-11 I have done this towel trick or blanket tirck what ever you want to call it for some time now. this is a good way to keep your xbox alive if you can not buy a xbox right away. i have done this method 7 times already. this last about a week then after i get the red rings again i would have to redo the process like shown in this video. the process last about 40 minutes depending how fast you cool down your xbox.
