Apparently even with the new Xbox 360 “slim” , disc scratch errors are still present. I wonder if M$ fixed rrod or E-74, and many other hardware failures associated with the Xbox 360? Remember disc scratch errors doesn’t occurs on Wii, PS3,laptops,dvd/blu-ray players or even 10 years old portable cd players. Even with the new redesign, errors/problems from older models are still present, so there is no need to upgrade to the Xbox Valhalla 360 250gb , and fanboys please stop defending M$.

I have a 360 and am having to send it in for repairs. We are thinking of getting rid of it and buying a ps3. Did the ps3 have as many problems as the 360 at launch. If so does it still have a lot of problems? You would think by now that microsoft would have thought a little more deeply into this and finally created a system that is worry free. What is Sony’s action plan for defaulty ps3′s?Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I just checked on my repair status at Xbox Support. The serial number has changed and the status says "no pending repair". I didn’t get any emails from Microsoft recently but does this mean they’re sending me another Xbox soon?

Hey, I called xbox support for shipping and stuff for the red ring of death. How do i send it in. I got an email from Microsoft with a UPS shipping receipt and I was wondering what you write on the box and what you put into the box other than console its self?

i think i voided my warranty by removing a silver microsoft sticker when i opened it up:
1. does this mean it is void?

2.if so how much would a void warranty repair cost?

Hey guys i have an xbox 360. My lights are all green so i have no ring of fire. The light on the power bar is green and i have changed cords so i know that its not the cords. i was in the middle of the game and it just went blank microsoft said to send it in for 100 bucks b4 i waste my 100 bucks do you guys have any suggestions,
