I have an Xbox 360 that has had the red ring of death and been fixed many times. It is in working condition, but after i play for 15 minutes or so, i get graphical errors, and when i restart the xbox , it has a black screen with sound, no graphics. I overheat it and it works again, but continues to repeat the cycle. I took the top off, and put a huge fan there in its place, but the extreme airation has made no difference, the problem still occurs. What else can i do to fix it?

I know that there has been problems with the xbox and Red Ring Of Death but does this occur on the new slimer version? And I have never heard of a problem with the ps3 slim so does anyone had any problems with these two consoles?

I bought an XBOX slim to replace my old console because I played it to death. But it only last a month before I started having problems with it. I called microsoft and they fully intend to honor the warranty and take care of the problem but I was wondering has anyone else had any problems. What is happening is that after 5-10 minutes of playing the screen either freezes or just goes blank with the red ring of death.
