So until about 3-4 days my Xbox 360 was working fine. Now, it doesn’t recognize any games I put in. It either doesn’t play them at all, gives me a You need to put this disc in a 360 message, or if it does play, it usually shows Disc Read error, even on completely unscratched CD’s. Now my warranty is up, and I can’t afford a new Xbox 360 at the moment. Can anyone help me and tell me how should I repair or where should I send it to get repaired (I can probably afford the repairing)

Ok my Xbox 360 is freezing/not responding during gameplay so i called Xbox technical support (1-800-4-MY-XBOX) and the gentleman told me that my warranty is up so i will have to pay 9.99 + tax to get it fixed. This 9.99 + tax include the shipping both ways, the repair, and an extra 1 year warranty.

WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!! Why should i have to pay 9.99 + tax to fix a problem that i didn’t even cause!!!!! I’m really poor right now and i want to play my Xbox 360!!!

Please does someone have any suggestions?!?!?!?!?

Thanks,
– Jonathan L.

I bought an XBOX slim to replace my old console because I played it to death. But it only last a month before I started having problems with it. I called microsoft and they fully intend to honor the warranty and take care of the problem but I was wondering has anyone else had any problems. What is happening is that after 5-10 minutes of playing the screen either freezes or just goes blank with the red ring of death.

I know that most of my friend that had the Xbox 360 had warranty issues and that their consoles crashed alot, but from PS3 only that freeze and anything else u might know ???
I rather have a Japanese console than a POS Microsoft USA console

When I say problems I mean things that would make you want to buy an extended warranty for it
