This is the 2nd version of my homemade fixit for the Xbox 360 unplayable disc error. Due to some complaints on the first video I made this so some of the details are clearer. DONT OPEN OF YOU HAVE WARRENTY ON YOURE XBOX if you open it like that youll break the seal and you cant send it in ever again
mine was making the grinding noise and saying open tray. I cleaned the poles the eye slides on and the corkscrew that moves the eye. It still sounds rough but it works! Thanks for the help
You do know that there is a game called call of duty modern warfare 2, most people aren’t playing WaW

Ok I need some major help,
I’ve essentially got two broken xboxs with no warranty, Xbox #1 reads cds as DVDs and sometimes not at all, while xbox #2has the E74 error. Sooo, I took both apart and switched their disk drives, but for some reason xbox #1 is still reading cds as dvds despite its new disk drive. Xbox #2 never had that problem so I’m? thinking it must be something else other than the disk drive but I just know what!

how can i fix this problem with my game (DC vs Mortal Combat, and GTA IV) cuz it will select “Play Game” on the dashbard and it will play the opening intro and then go and say “disc can not be read or clean the disc.”

if u open ur xbox ur pretty much fucking ur self in the ass because u cant send it in ever after u have opened it and if u do something to where u cant repair it u have to buy a new one
I fixed my xbox the reason why it didnt want to read my any discz 4 me waz becuz tha polez tha laser eye slidez on waz dirty.. so maybe that will help some of ur guyz problemz with ur xbox not readin any cd..
Will this fix the problem for the samsung drive as well?

yeah…….the only game it would not play was fifa but the other games it works fine.
