i have a 360 with a 20 gb hard drive that has valuable gaming stuff on it. when i send my box in to Microsoft for repair, do i keep the hard drive with me, or send in in with the xbox? any insight on this is greatly appreciated.
(if it helps, i have the E74 error)

  1. keep everything but the main xbox shell, which means you keep the hard drive and all the cords

  2. Since it’s the actual system itself with the problem, you keep the cord to the TV and that plugs into the wall, and your hard drive. If you have anything saved on the system by any chance, then transfer it to your hard drive.
