  1. Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX

They will make you go through a troubleshoot test which involves unplugging everything, including the hard drive, and turning it on. If that doesn’t work (it never does) they will take your address and send you a shipping box with instructions.

They will pay for all shipping; there will be no cost to you, except you will be without a system for some time. They will tell you how long it will take when you call.

Finally, you won’t know if they repair it or replace it until you get it back. If Microsoft does replace it, they will include a note to let you know. Also, they included a free 3 month Xbox Live subscription when they returned mine.

Dude, Red Ring syndrome totally sucks!. Welcome to the club. EVERYONE I know with a 360 has had it.

    Good luck!

  2. they will repair it or you could wack both sides after unpluging it and it will fix right up

  3. you need to call microsoft customer support at 1 800 4 my xbox. i’ve heard that it costs up to a hundred dollars. they were going to fix mine for free. anyways they will tell you what to do. you’ll have to wait 2-3 weeks from the time they get it to get your xbox back. they probably will send you the one you sent them

    never ever hit your xbox

  4. Call their number and they will explain everything to you. For me it, it had taken only about a week and a half to get it back. They will send you the information on where to send it and all you have to do is print it out and tape to the package.
