When i had originally bought my xbox it worked perfectly fine for about 6months then I had to send it in to microsoft.i got it back and it worked for about a month until i got the 3red rings. so now im deciding if i should send it in to another repair service called 360-pros.com or just buy a new or used one from gamestop.

  1. Just send it in if it’s under warranty. If it’s not under warranty, buy the Xbox 360 Arcade. It’s the richest version that comes equipped with a Jasper chipset. Then you can buy a HDD separately.

These new Jasper chips pump out less heat, use less wattage and they came out in August 2008. Hopefully, Jasper’s would be the end of the Red Ring of Death.

  2. it wold be way better to get it repaid for free by Microsoft… are they still even doing that i herd after three years are so they will stop repairing for free

  3. I had the same problem.
& in the middle of halo it would jam up.
I took mine into gamestop and had it switched out loll.
i dont think they knew it was fked up.
but w.e do something like that.

  4. If you have to money to buy a new one, get a new one, just make sure to back up your info…hell, that’s what I would do.

  5. i had 3 friends send tthere x ox off and they never got them back

  6. If you don’t mind blowing money then just buy a new one.

  7. I would give Gamestop the one that doesn’t work, so they could maybe salvage parts or fix it or something, and then buy a new or used one.

  8. it depends..if ur paying for the repairs then i would just buy a new one..because if u keep having to pay for the repairs it could add up to the amount of a new one..but if its free for repairs then try to get it repaired one last time before buying a new one

  9. buy a new one that is not used microsoft already handled all of that stuff on the new ones so you wouldnt have a problem. i would preffer to buy a ps3 it is way better in my opinion

  10. Don’t repair it, because that is what is hurting it probably. You should buy a new one. (Or if you need to cut down the costs, just buy a used one.)

  11. You’re a dumb fuck. Send it if you are still under warranty. I’m really sorry I’m bi-polar.

  12. Soz i have no idea i don’t have an xbox ( i hav a wii )

can’t you ask your parents see what they say x

  13. hey i had the same question as u when my’n broke i sent it back and then one month later i got it back got a one month free of Xbox live

  14. If u send it for repairs it might cost u alot! Why don’t u just buy a new one. *-*

  15. If you’re still under warranty, just send it in. Why waste money?

  16. Take the hard drive out, dispose of the old one, and buy a new one. If that hard drive’s the probelm then somehow make sure you back up all your data (try a MegaXKey or look it up @ xbox.com) and buy a new one.

Once you have the RROD there’s really no way of stopping it!

  17. Well have yu tried calling Microsoft because my friend had the some problem and he just called Microsoft and he just had to send his back and they sent him a new one i think yu should do the same.

  18. return it to MS

  19. repair

  20. Don’t send your Xbox to a repair company, Pay less then that and fix it yourself, be up and running within an hour. Then if your xbox ever breaks again you will be able to fix it on the spot. I sent my Xbox back to Microsoft 3 times before I got a repair video. Since then I have fixed a few of my friends Xboxs and made way more money then I put out.
