Hello i bought an xbox 360 about 1 year ago this week and had many problems with it and first the disk drive went out on it then it went out again so the second time i sent it out i got another one and the first time i plugged it in and tryed to go into a game it just lagged horribly like bad well then i started doing some research about it and found out that my NAT was set to moderate well later on went by without me doing anything at all it just went away and worked perfectly fine and then i kinda stopped playing it since may 12th i think and now i hooked it back up again and started playing it and it had the same exact problems well then i did some research to make the NAT open which i did however achieve and make work now my NAT says open everytime i test the connection but i still get horrible lag is there anytips on how to fix this problem or what it might even be?

  1. Update your router firmware. or call linksys. anyway here’s the chat support link of linksys. http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/linksys.cfg/php/enduser/live_request.php

  2. Disable the firewall on the router.. It blocks ports and can cause data packet loss. Type in 192.168.1.1 in your web browser.. leave username blank and pw is usually "admin" (this is the default)

  3. if its going wireless, you definitely need to wire it in. wireless only gets 56mbps and thats not enough to run that much power over the internet. it also might be someone else in your game causing you to lag.

  4. Get a better internet connection?

  5. if you are using a wireless 360 networking adapter and your router isnt G compatable then thats why
