I want a 360. Which version is the best w/best deal. Arcade bundle or just core. I would have a starting budjet of about 400 dollars. I also like 360 games better than the reserved ps3 titles.
Alos, are their a lot of xbox 360 problems, or was that only the first ones that came out.
Seriously, I highly highly suggest getting a PS3. They are slightly more expensive initially, but they are much better investments. First, PS3 allows you to play online for free. Xbox 360 stiffs you with the bill for Xbox online every month. More importantly, Xbox 360s suffer from the dreaded "red ring of death." Essentially, there is a constant chance that your 360 will just die.
I have owned both a PS3 and an Xbox 360. My 360 died one week after the warranty expired, even though I took excellent care of it. I even bought the cooling panel that supposedly prevented overheating. So far, I have not had a single problem with my PS3. It works like a dream.
Finally, the PS3 is about to release several amazing games. Metal Gear Solid 4 and the new Grand Turismo will blow any 360 title out of the water. Many of the better titles for 360 are multi-platform releases that are also sold for the PS3.
Well, They no longer make the core system. So you can either get the Arcade system for about $280, or (what I have) the Premium or the normal one for $350

I suggest the premium you get what you pay for, and with the problems, You get 3 year warrenty for the Red ring of death, and overall there arent alot of major problems

I’ve only experienced the ring of deather with my 360 and still love it. I’d buy it over PS3 again any day…
No there are no problems in the new Xbox 360s. The first ones that came out had a major problem called the Red Ring of Death (nicknames by gamers). It would cause all kinds of problems to happen. Thankfully this problem is no more. And it’s a better idea to simply buy the core system as the arcade one is just a waste of money.
