i’m having major problems with my xbox 360. i put halo in and can only make it through 1 mission before it freezes. then i tried COD 4. I couldn’t make it through a single online match before the connection messed up and froze my system. it doesn’t have the red ring of death yet, but i’m hoping it will so i can get a better one. any advice?
i know it’s not the game discs. i also tried a rented game (GH aerosmith) and it didn’t even get to the main menu. i tried it in my brother’s 360 and it worked fine. i really do not know what to do.
i also connect through ethernet. it comes up with the messed up connection symbol sometimes, but other times it freezes at one spot and i can still shoot and walk around, but i’m just stuck on the same image the entire time.
if its freezing like that microsoft replace it if year is still in
but if u want red rings to send in cover the vents up and even if u get ntwo lights call and tell them u got 3 if your year up

It isn’t your 360. If a game plays AT all and it freezes at a specific point, it means space on the disc is coruppted. It has nothing to do with your console. Take the game back. CoD4 is lagging because your connection is bad. Are you using WiFi or an ethernet cable? Because WiFi can have connection issues very easily if there’s anything messing up the connection.
