  1. okay.. so i did this to one of my xbox’s over a year ago and it works to this day. Now i’m going to do the same thing to my buddys tomorrow. What is the point of over heating it?

  2. So you wait till there is only 2 lights flashing?

  3. to bond the new compound together

  4. Tried all this with every detail. The video was very helpful in tearing apart and repairing, but still get the rings of death.
The other videos all show the finished product working but I was unfortunate in my outcome. Buy the extended warranty next time. My unit ran out of the three year Microsoft warranty three weeks after it crashed. YEs, it sucks for me, and makes me wonder about Microsoft products…

  5. @the7thchambers 2 lights is just no video input, easy to fix…just connect it to your TV

  6. Yeah still fucked.. Bought a new one…

  7. Thanks so much for this video. Don’t have red rings anymore. Thanks so much!

  8. Did it work as well as this video shows it will? I took mine apart again and reseated the heat coolers (cookers, heh), but still got screwed. Let it heat up about a dozen times, still no luck.
