* I PAINTED THE CONSOLE AFTER I SENT IT IN * * It was UNMODDED & UNTOUCHED when it broke, and when I sent it in – I was screwed by MS * ** Don’t even reply if its going to be negative, or i’ll report it. IT WAS UNMODDED BEFORE I SENT IT!!! ** This is a video of the many problems I went through trying to fix my (originally unopened/unmodded) 3RLOD Xbox 360. Note: When I sent it for repair, it was UNOPENED/UNMODDED!!! I just want to let people know what happened to me and how Microsoft is treating some of their customers over the 3RLOD issues! I know I am not alone in this. Another note, when I sent in my Xbox 360, it was in near perfect condition except for the 3RLOD error, when I got it back it was all beat up!!! Please watch through the pictures too.

The more I see of this, the more it makes me think,Take pictures and/or video footage that has a time stamp on it before shipping it to them.
Personally the only reason why I have picked up a 360 (Arcade, newest model with the Jasper Chip) is due to the fact that I just cant afford a PS3 right now and a few games that are only on 360. (no, not talking about Halo games nor GoW, I don’t care for those)
So far soo good, but I fear the prospect of it going down before I can afford a PS3

sorry that u had some problems with the 360 , BUT WE ALL DO . i have had 3 360,s witch covered two years … now when i bought a ps3 ive had no problems ( ITS GREAT)

just now i was playing and during i was playing it appeared some kind of static on the screen and i thought it was the game but the i went to the dashboard and tried to play another game but the static remaind on my screen and i am sure that is not the TV so dont know whats happening and i think the only thing i can do is sit and hope my xbox is not broke

not having a dig or owt but playstations are Shit with a capital T fair enough if u dont play online there great but online xbox is 10 times better fair enough they do break and luckaly for me theres a place near by that will fix them hassle free and even in around 3 hours so no waiting 3 weeks. plus they will even mod it for u, and if ur shit on cod they will also mod ur controller

AGHRJGH, IM NOT A DUMBASS. I painted it after I sent it in. READ the info on the video. I DID NOTHING to the xbox when it broke or before it broke. I didn’t want to void my warrenty, but MS screwed me.
GOD DAMMIT, I PAINTED IT AFTER I SENT IT IN. READ THE INFO ON THE VIDEO. I am not an idiot. When I go out and spend more than $300 or so on a game console, I am NOT going to tamper with it or paint it UNTIL my warranty is gone out.

I fixed it (xclamp replacement) & painted it AFTER I sent it in (for those who think I painted it before), and it’s easy to not get banned from Xbox live, just do not connect when you have a burned game in. Only connect to xbox live when you have no burned game in the drive (After playing a burned game, before I connect, I take the disk out, reboot my console and then plug in ethernet)
