have all the xbox 360 problems been solved. I mean have they fixed all the ones that havent been sold yet so that way they dont have problems later on? I ask this question because I am about to buy a 360.

  1. Microsoft is aware of the problems that plague the Xbox 360 and recent hardware revisions likely have resolved all or most of the major issues that cause the hardware to fail. They haven’t been out for long though so time will tell if they really have fixed anything.

Also, because these changes are so recent that if you go out and buy one right now you’ll likely to get one of the older Xbox 360s that just haven’t been sold yet. (Unless you’re planning to get the Elite version) If you’re getting a premium model then you should check the manufacturing date or if it has HDMI to make sure you are getting a newer one. It should say on the box.

The new 3 year warranty and new ability to order a repair online should also give you peace of mind.

  2. They have put a new heatsink on all of the new machines so you should not have to worry about the tech problems, just to make sure you are getting the newest ones make sure you get an HDMI enabled one. Look on the packaging and it will list that it has an HDMI port, This site shows the differences in the packaging so you know exactly what to get: http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/10/spot-the-hdmi-enabled-xbox-360-premium-at-retail/

So as long as you get one of those bad boys you should have no issues.

  3. this site will give you an xbox 360 just for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you’re broke but really want an xbox (like me).
