I have a problem with connecting my xbox 360 to the internet with my wireless network and ethernet cord. It was working a day ago all of a sudden it just stop working. I Think IP is mess up on my Local Area Conection. Sorry 4 The crappy camera

i am now having the same problem I tried everything I know I seriously have pushed every damn button know to man on the local area connection and had people look at it…Still No go THOUGH it will come on randomly and say “hey you can play today!!!”(sarcasticly) and then the next nothing happens….this is seriously fustrating
ok sorry it took me so long to reply but if you have a router… you can just hook your network cable to your router into your xbox
I have a small problem, My xbox will not go online through the ethernet cable, Does anyone know why this is.
Someone told me I had to put in some code from the internet connection into the xbox but Im not sure what he means.

this is the same or me my xbox was working fine but recently there were 2 updates and my xbox does not go online. The problem is that the ethernet cable is picking up the xbox but not putting the internet through it!!!

You made a good point about needing Xbox Live to recover your profile but you can always use the wbpage…
i connect my EtherNet cable into my 360 and into my Modem/broadband like the manual says but i cant go online or anything always the same problem
you might have to set your wirelessconnection to share which well allow the live to work that worked for me for awhile but then all of a sudden after that stupid tuesday maitnence of xbox live it sttopped working you might have to get a wireless adaptor for you xbox hoped this help ya

wat u need to do is ok connect the eternet with the xbox and the modem then when is connected turn off modem then turn it back onand wait till it get ready again after that on =your xbox click on connect to xbox live then.
it will come out the same error then click check connection then just text the xbox live connection and it will connect automacticly.
